Due to growing demands, we have a number of exciting opportunities to expand our team and are therefore looking for a Content Officer to join our Communications Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As the Content Officer, you'll be responsible for creating, publishing and promoting a range of online and offline content for our audience.

Using analytics, user research and your knowledge about different platforms and channels, you'll develop accessible and engaging content that meets our audiences' needs.

You'll support and advise colleagues to design suitable and user-focused content, ensuring to keep in line with our tone of voice and accessibility standards.

Additionally, you'll edit and proofread work and provide guidance on the best format, structure and channels to present and share content.

About You

To be considered as a Content Officer, you'll need:

- Experience of working as a writer and/or editor
- Experience of structuring, designing and publishing user-centred content for online and offline channels
- Experience of sub-editing and proofreading materials and turning complicated or technical text into plain English or Welsh
- Experience of researching and analysing what users or audiences are looking for and producing content that meets their needs
- The ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data (including web analytics)
- An understanding of publishing web content, website content management systems and design, and search engine optimisation
- Broad knowledge of online and offline communication channels and how to develop effective content for them
- Excellent English and Welsh written and oral communication skills, including grammar and punctuation
