You would be required to build on an existing desk, and you will earn commission on maintaining this as well as considerable bonus for growth. Targets are clearly defined - there will be a direct correlation between the effort you put in and the financial rewards that you will see, so this role would only suit a self-motivated individual who is target driven and money motivated.
This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive recruitment environment where there is no requirement to cold call. In order to be suitable for this role you must be personable and articulate with the proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
You will be assigned a geographical area to work on and will be required to build and develop long term relationships with those clients through meetings, networking and daily phone calls, with the objective of becoming their preferred, and ideally sole, recruitment provider. Previous recruitment experience is preferred but applications are also welcome from confident communicators who have proven sales experience in an office environment and have the drive required to meet and exceed revenue generation targets. Most of your day will be spent speaking to clients on the phone, both prospect and current and interviewing candidates so you need to have first rate attention to detail and the ability to provide intelligent and informed opinions. Education recruitment is a good mix of fast paced temp bookings alongside long term and permanent vacancies so organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload is key.
You will work within an established team of experienced Recruitment Consultants and will be given the support and training required to enable you to succeed in this role.
