S4C is looking for a talented individual to work on the transfer of S4C's digital archive to new infrastructure which will be initially based in BBC Broadcasting House Llandaff.
It is important to have good analytical skills and the ability to work on your own, contribute effectively to the team and deliver for stakeholders, you will need to be self-motivated, adaptable and keen to learn.
There will also be opportunities to work in a small team based in S4C, Llanishen as part of the archive digitisation project.
Location: BBC Broadcasting House, Llandaff, Cardiff
Salary: £17,000 - £18,000
Contract: 12 months
Working hours: Your normal hours of work will be according to a shift pattern, totalling 1898 hours per annum, including weekends and bank holidays. Due to the nature of the post, flexibility will be required.
Probation Period: 6 months
Holidays: In addition to statutory bank holidays, you will be entitled to 229 hours of annual leave with pay during a 12 month period. If you work part-time or for a period of fewer than 12 months, your holiday entitlement will be calculated on a pro rata basis to the nearest half day.
Pension: Employed staff are entitled to join a Group Personal Pension Scheme which is subject to the terms of any scheme that exists and is revised from time to time. Should you join the Group Personal Pension Scheme, S4C will contribute 10% of your basic salary to the Scheme. You will be expected to contribute 5%.
